Louis Ouimet is a small business owner in Edmonton, Alberta Canada.
He got his first camera at an early age and always loved taking photos.
He got some experience with developing film and prints in junior high school and talked his Dad into setting up a darkroom in the basement
Though earning a living and raising a family kept photography at the hobby level, he never lost the enjoyment of taking photos.
The digital age really brought the excitement and passion back into his photography, with the ability to endlessly experiment with new techniques and different subjects.
Over the last few years he has won numerous awards and is published internationally as well as locally.
Today he mostly concentrates on Landscape and Travel photography and is always striving to get better.
